MY dishwasher is draining after the wash cycle. ALso the detergent was stuck in the dispenser at the end of the cycle. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you.

Does the control go through all the cycles but nothing happens during some cycles or does it simply stop after the wash cycle?

Thank you. Yes it goes through all cycles, but doesn't drain.

If the soap dispenser did not open, then I'd be checking the timer control and the water supply and finally the dispenser switch. If it did open, then I'd be concerned first with wheter it is filling completely in the beginning, then whether it is getting rinse water. If not, then I'd look to the timer control.
