Hi. I have a very old (more than 20 years)GE upright freezer in my basement. I'm in a bad heat wave now, the freezer runs continuously, and the compressor is hot to the touch. How hot does a compressor normally get when its running. Is it overheating? If it overheats, will it shut itself off, or will it go until it dies. Thanks
