Where would the valve that controls water flow into the washer located. I can't find the manual with the exploded view and I am having problems with the water flow into the machine not shutting off when it should. Appreciate any advice

Both water inlet hoses will go into that valve. Follow the hoses if you can. It's probabably mounted on the inside of the back of the washer. The valve can get sand in it and won't cut off all the way. Usually the cold water because the hot water has a chance to settle out sediment in the hot water tank. Flush out hoses' and clean out the valve as best you can.
