freezer lights are out on K'Aid side by side

freezer lights went out on kitchenaid side by side refer\freezer. refer lights still working. both sides still cooling. replaced bulbs, still dark. i checked continuity of switch, its OK. i checked for power (110V AC) in the wires to the switch, they're dead. same is true for the other switch in the freezer door. (i'm guessing this other switch is for the ice & water in door feature which is also not working). please advise.

There is a connection through the door hinge where the wires pass. I'd check there for damage. Also, somewhere in the wiring is a plastic connector that may have come apart. Simply reconnecting that may take care of the problem.
