I bought a Phillips flat screen plasma tv, 18 months ago, there are lines appearing on the screen that looks like glue lines, they show up on a clear screen, is there anything I can do?

I am uncertain what you mean by "glue lines". Do they appear in the same place everytime? Do they appear at the edges, center, where?

They appear during a "clear screen" do you mean when there is no source, the screen is black, the screen is all white or when the "no signal color" is on screen?

Does the problem only occur when one particular source is used? If so, that points at a problem with the source input, cable or connection.

the lines are in the same place, and show up all the time especially when the picture is very clear, such as snow or water pictures, I know they are there so I look for them, the lines look like they are on the glass on the inside, where they may have glued the glass on or something to that effect. I know the plazma is very sensitive, and this really ruins the picture, and I dont know what to do, as the warrentee is up. thanks   :p

I've not been able to find any information about the problem you describe. Whatever is causing this problem is very likely not to be user servicable. Therefore, you might as well contact the support desk at Phillips to determine the nature of the problem and then contact a repairperson of your choosing to get a quote for the cost to repair it.

I know this post is serveral months old, but here goes anyway.

1- How many lines do you see?
2- Were they always there?
3- Do you watch a lot of standard definition (4:3 mode) where it shows black bars on the left and right side of the picture?

The lines could be from what's called burn-in. This is caused when one area of the screen is used more then another area, such as if you leave a static image on the screen to long, it will leave a ghostly image (burned-in) behind or if you constanly watch a channel that shows a stock ticker at the bottom of the display, it will also cause this effect. Hope this helps.
