Frigidaire Washing Machine

I have a Frigidaire washing machine approx 8 years old, belt drive. During the wash cycle, the tub turns along with the agitator instead of staying stationary. The tub spins normally during the spin cycle. What could be the problem? :confused: I've checked the belt and it is fine.

Some models used a solenoid or other brake mechanism to hold the basket. That may be the problem here.
