Hi All,
I have a Sibir gas electric refrigerator model no.2723.
My problem is that the freezer compartment works perfectly on gas or electricity but the lower refrigerator part does not work at all on either fuel.
The cooling fins in the refrigerator part are the same temperature as the outside air and remain so after being on all day.I have turned it upside down for a while but this did not help either. The only opion I have received is that the cooling unit is starting to clog up and is too expensive to replace.
I just thought that if the cooling unit was on the way out that both compartments would fail gradually at the same rate,not one failing suddenly and the other continue working normally.
