Epson stylus 440 all lights flashing

How can i reset the default setting of the printer?
I've tried almost every procedure that i know and nothing works.

According to the manual, when all the lights flash the printer may have an internal error. Undoubtedly you already tried this, but the manual says to press the power button to turn it off, wait several seconds, then turn it back on.

It goes on to say that if this does not clear the internal error, that you must contact Epson. So the reason you cannot clear the error is that there is something wrong with your printer, so wrong that they can't print the solution, you have to call them.

You can rule out all other possibilities if you disconnect the printer from the printer cable, unplug the power, then restore power (but not the printer cable) and the lights still flash. Then the problem is with the printer. If the problem only occurs when you conenct to the PC, then if you haven't already, download an updated printer driver from the Epson website.
