Question: I have a Frigidaire FRT18HC5AWO refridgerator with top mount freezer. It has an automatic ice-maker. Currenly water runs down from near the fan area in the freezer, through to the lower part, down the back wall, and to the base of the refridgerator. Do you have any suggestions for this problem?? It is a NO-FROST system
Answer: If the fan is located above the floor of the freezer, then it sounds like water is entering from the ice maker's fill tube. That would indicate a leaking inlet valve which would need to be replaced.
However, water running down the back is normal for some models as that is how defrost run-off gets to the drain tube in the bottom of the fridge. If water is standing inside the refrigerator then you need to clean a clooged drain tube.
