I'm not sure I understand, but I think you turned off Multimedia / Pictures" in Internet Explorer. If so, here is how to turn it back on:

To turn on/off multimedia in Internet Explorer
By default, Internet Explorer displays multimedia (such as pictures, videos, or sounds) used on webpages. You can turn on/off multimedia if you want to increase the speed at which the page loads or if you use a screen reader. Here's how:

In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.

In the Settings section, under Multimedia, check/clear any of the following check boxes to turn on/off that type of multimedia:
Play animations in webpages
Play sounds in webpages
Show pictures


In your case, I think you need to simply click on "Show Pictures" and then click "Apply"

DIY Guy: It worked! I use firefox so the names and wording and location were different but I was able to figure out how to do it.
