GE Frig won't stay cold

My GE :confused: side-by-side warmed up and the ice melted. When I turned the defrost timer, it came on - so I replaced the defrost timer. It didn't start right away so I turned the knob and it started. It is cycling, but is not staying cold enough. If it is off and warm - a little bump will start it up again.

Probably a bad cold control. If you tap the housing and it comes on only thing it could be: You allready replaced the defrost timer.
