Darkness in a Whirlpool Fridge

I have a custom series whirpool fridge still is working great but the light went out. I have replaced the bulb and also tested the switch. When i put my tester on the wires for the switch i had no power in the lines. (its only a 2 prong switch) any help would be great because i cant find anything on whirlpool website about if it has fuses or anything of that sort. :confused:

There should be power to that switch. Hidden somewhere on the fridge is a schematic, often in a little envelope behind the toe kick on the bottom front or taped to the back of the fridge.

Review the schematic to determine if there are any fuses. I suspect the answer is no. You may have a broken wire and the schematic will help to trace and test the wire to the switch.
