View Full Version : Kenmore Icemaker - Mold Not Filling Completely

I have an odd problem with my Kenmore icemaker . . . of the 8 or so slots in the mold, only 3 of them seem to fill up with water (or enough water) to turn out ice cubes. It is always the 3 slots closest to the back. The 3 ice cubes that are consistently produced seem to be "normal" in size.
Any thoughts on why this is happening?
Would turning the water level adjustment screw help, or would it just make larger ice cubes in the 3 slots that are already producing ice?

The slots are filled from the rear to the front. When one fills it overflows to the next. You need more water coming in.

Thank you. I will try turning the water adjustment screw, which I presume will allow more water to fill into the mold.

Pardon me if this isn't right way to do this, new here.
I am having the exact same problem, would you let me know if this solves your problem and how to do it? From what I've read, it's a timer problem.
Thanks,
