Hey guys, :)
Kudos on a great idea with this website. It helps do-it-yourselfers like me find fun ways of electricuting ourselves, and bashing or otherwise destroying perfectly good appliances. :) Seriously, thanks for the help in advance.
I've got what I feel is an interesting situation. Yesterday, upon getting back from a 4 day trip out of town, I had the sprinkler guy out to help with our sprinkler system to make sure it was up to par for the spring and summer upcoming... including backflow, diaphragms, etc. Well, as we were operating it and among other things, we had what seemed to be a 'shaking/rattling' experience behind the refrigerator. Strange to me, but you may have heard of it before.
I'm not sure if it's associated with it, but now my refrigerator water dispenser and ice maker do not dispense. Pushing the lever on the door for water sounds like it's trying to push water, but nothing comes out. I inspected the ice machine as well. Same thing.
I checked the water in the back of the fridge (from the wall) including disconnecting the hose and checking the water source. Successful.
Now, when we got back from our trip, our milk (in the door at bottom) was nearly frozen along with some veggies (frozen celery... scrumptious), so I have a feeling it might have to do with the water line (sitting at the bottom under the drawers) in the back of the fridge freezing up??? ... Does that line connect to the ice machine as well, though?
You've probably answered this type of post before, but if you could possibly shoot me in the right direction to solve this otherwise annoying issue, my wife would love you forever... and get off MY back about it, too. :D
Listening attentively,
