The motor on my well keeps turning on every 10 seconds or so, and loud when turning on at the house, runs for about 10 to 15 seconds and shuts off. I touched the motor and its warm to hot. Any suggestions?

The motor on your well keeps turning on every 10 seconds.

Does it pump the water up to the desired pressure and then cuts off and cuts back on in 10 seconds because the pressure has dropped again. That sounds like a foot valve problem. (Not closing)

With bearings worn out it could be loud and also cause the motor to overheat and cause it to cut off until it cools off.

Describe your system and pump type more for more information.

If this is happening while water is being used it can also be a problem with the holding tank not having enough air above the bladder.
