I have a toilet that I believe is leaking but I cannot find the problem. The symptoms, when you are in the bathroom below the one with the leak, you can hear, drip, drip, drip in the drain pipe. There is never a loss of water in the bowl or in the tank. (All parts in the tank were just replaced and the problem continues). When the toilet is flushed, there is a large amount of air that comes up through the bowl (lots of big bubbles). The bowl flushes normal and fills normal. Any thoughts as to what is causing the dripping and the air bubbles??
thanks in advance

I am venturing a theory on the air bubbles possibly being the result of a partial clog in the waste line. A siphon is occuring and pulling water out of the bowl and causing the drip sound. The bubbles occur as water runs out and trades places with pocckets of air in the waste line.
A classic test is to put some food coloring in the tank and then check the bowl after and hour or two to see if any color is showing up in the bowl. If so, water is leaking from the tank and the extra water is leaving the bowl and dripping in the waste line.
