Propane Dryer... strong smell in clothes

Just recently my clothes dryer started smelling. It makes my clothes smell like .... like... like kerosene.. urgh! I cleaned it out to make sure the vent wasnt blocking it.. tonight I even disconnected the big propane tank to attach a small fresh tank thinking it might be the gas. The dryer starts and drys the clothes... it just makes them smell.

Could it be the propane? The big tank is almost empty.. literally.

Help.. I dont want to call the repair man for no reason... and I want to know if I need to complain to the propane co.

Could be a dead rodent in the burner assembly.
