Cant open zanussi FL 1204 washingmachine

Cant open zanussi FL 1204 washingmachine after washing.. the handle where you open is a bit loose.. it is not a electrical problem i unpluged it.. what can i do to open it..

Most washers have a lid lock switch which prevents someone from putting their arm in a rapidly spinning drum. It engages when the tub is spinning and should release when the spinning stops. If you can access yours from the front panel you should be able to look from under your lid and see the switch and locking mechanism . Check for loose wire and bad wire connection. If you manually disable the switch use caution when opening your lid while washing.
