View Full Version : Gibson Washer wont spin out or agitate

Don't know anything about washers except how to run them, not fix them. What do I need to do? I can't find model or serial number on it anywhere. I can't afford a new one so please help.

The easiest fix would be the pressure switch which lets the washer finish the cycle once it fills to the proper level with water.CHECK IT HERE (http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/check/waterlevel.php) .

If it has a belt it could be broken or slipping. CHECK IT HERE (http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/check/belt.php) .

On some washers the lid switch will prevent spinning and agitating.CHECK LID SWITCH (http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/check/lidswitch.php) .
