Dishwasher issue

I own a Whirlool Quiet Partner II. The main wash dispenser lid no longer flips open. :( Any advice on this or do I need to call a repair man?

The spring on the door of my soap dispenser came loose and all I had to do was replace the spring. The door opening is controlled by the timer with a cam follower on some which is connected to the timer and the door.
