GE PROFILE not cooling properly

Ice forming on lower section of coils. So i replaced the defrost heater.
Worked for about two weeks, then started to form ice again and warm up. What's next? Model TPX21BRXA WW.

You probably have an intermittant defrost thermostat.

When i replaced the defrost heater, the defrost thermometer was included. Today i advanced the defrost timer to the defrost mode. Forty minutes later, timer had not advanced to the cooling mode. I had to do it manually. Thinking about replacing timer.

I advanced timer to default mode one more time. Timer advanced itself to cooling mode. I did it about three hours after the first time. Good temps as i post. What did you mean intermittent defrost thermostat? Maybe i still need to replace timer.

Defrost timer probably intermittant, just replace. When you put timer in defrost, did it defrost??
