refrigerator problem

I've got a refrigerator that will work ie becomes cold, makes ice ect for about 3 weeks then will stop working. If I turn it off for about 1 day then turn it back on it works agian for about 3 weeks. While it is turned off I notice some water on the floor (located in heated basement, cement floor), but I have not been able to find the problem. Any suggestions what it wrong and how to correct/fix this machine?

Check for a bad/leaking water solenoid in the back. Also check freezer temperature and post.

I do not see any leaks, and the freezer temp is -20F.

The freezer is getting super cold, probably running constantly. Need to re-set air control to let more freezer air into fridg section.
