This dishwasher split the drain hose ,I replaced it with a hose from Lowes, it was much shorter than the original hose which ran up the side of the dishwasher and created a loop, the lowes hose would not drain. I have installed the correct replacement hose and it wont drain, the pump seems to be running but no draining and water remains in the bottom. Does the pump/hose need to be primed? The drain hose to the disposal is clear, I ran the garden hose through it. When the pump runs it makes a kind of clicking noise, at least when I think it is in the drain cycle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Steve.

Strange how this thing just quit pumping after the hose was changed,I have found ,the pump doesnt need to be primed. The pump is easily accessible ,I dont see any way to turn the impeller with a screwdriver ,there is a relay(?) above the pump, any way to test the pump and relay with a multimeter? What readings should I get ? This unit is also pushbutton, no timer/dial so you have to run the thing to get to the pumping cycle, any way around this? I double checked , no hoses are kinked.Thanks, Steve

If pump impeller will not turn, you should take the pump apart and clean out objects.

The dishwasher pumped fine before hose replacement, nothing was dropped into the drain end to stop impeller, acts like its lost its prime, this machines drain hose has a loop up the side of the unit and wont pump uphill.

120.00 later for a service call, turns out the drain pump had a bad spot in the windings,120.00 for another pump and 120.00 service call ,dishwasher wasnt worth all that so I bought a pump for 73.00 and will install myself . Total repair 223.00 including the new hose.

Wow what a part markup, like 3x wholesale, a bit steep. I would never charge such a high price!
