Kenmore refrigerator icemaker keeps freezing

I have a refurbished Kenmore refrigerator purchased 2 months ago. About 3 days after purchasing it the ice maker quit working. I unplugged the refrigerator over night and removed all items from the freezer section. The refrigerator was plugged in the next day and the ice maker worked like a charm. It has been working fine for 3 weeks now. W began putting items back in the freezer yesterday and today the ice maker has quit working again. Any suggestions?

I'm afraid you haven't described the problem thoroughly enough to diagnose the problem. The fact that it is not working doesn't give much to go on.

Is there ice in the mold, but it doesn't come out? Does it not refill with water? Is there an icicle having from the fill spout above the ice mold?

Your freezer must be below 15 degrees for the icemaker to work.
