black flecks in cubes from ice maker

Hi y'all,

I've got an early 1990s Amana side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. No major problems for the life of the appliance. Recently, some of the ice cubes have black flecks in them about the size of fingernail clippings. Any ideas to the cause and/or solution?

They are probably comming from the icemaker mold. If so,just replace icemaker
