my toilet won't flush !

can anybody help me ? my toilet won't flush. it doesn't seem to be blocked, i have recentley changed the flush handle after the old one snapped off. i replaced it exactley the same as before. any ideas ?

The problem could be the linkage on the new handle you put on. If it doesn't raise the flapper high enough, the flapper will close before it is finished flushing.


Working inside the tank could have changed the level the water fills to. Increase the level to max to see if that makes it flush.You can then adjust the level lower making sure it still flushes.
