Knocking Pipes after flushing toliets

I have 3 full bathrooms and in each of them after I flush any one of the toliets, the pipes start with a loud knocking. I also noticed the other night that it start during a laundry cycle. Any suggestions?

Air in the pipes or too much water pressure can cause the pipes to knock and rattle. Try to track down the offending spot and see if you can secure it. Strap it or wedge in in place. Air can get in pipes when the system has been opened for repair either in the house or on down the street.
