How do you replace the pressure switch on well pump?

Remove wiring from old switch. Unscrew from pump housing. Remove plastic or rubber tube from pump housing and old switch.

Use new white pipe wrap on fittings and install in reverse order.

Thanks, I guess what is really wrong is the pressure guage itself; do you just replace it or are there adjustments to be made and how if required?

The gauge can be replaced alone. It unscrews and you need the white plumbing tape to keep it from leaking when you put the new on. The adjustment for the on and off pressure is on the switch itself.
