does the igniter come on for a few seconds, then go off, then go on again ?
what is the timing sequence, if it works at all?

is / was the vent clogged ?
the igniter circuit goes through the "thermal fuse" #6 & a "high limit thermostat" #8 on the blower housing & through the centrifugal switch in the motor (motor must be running)

you'd have to take some voltage measurements or check the continuity of the thermal fuse & high limit thermostat. (or jumper across each of them for TESTING ONLY)
