Our Whirlpool washer has this nasty habit of making a horrid noise after it finishes spinning. It sounds like some gear isn't engaging - perhaps to slow it down. I didn't map all the operations of the washer when it was new to know if the agitator is doing all that it used to or not. It fills, it pumps down, it spins, it just doesn't like to stop spinning. Ideas as to which part is bad? :(
