not for sure on the ntc , but i will find out for sure tomorrow.

if it does im not going over there until tomorrow late and after parts houses are close.

is there a way to be sure , or is there a way to check to see if the part is bad , before i go out and get it.

thanks........Robert

It mentions it's NTC, could be Negative Temperature Coefficient, meaning it's resistance decreases with heat, hence, if it's shorted, it thinks it's HOT.

I don't know the specs on it, although if you disconnected it, it would probably stop the fan and get the message "NTC OPEN, CALL FOR SERVICE”

i will know for sure tomorrow.

im wondering though will i have to remove the microwave from its position to get to the thermistor, or can i get to it from the front.

im not for sure what to expect , im hoping that it will be easy to get too.

oh and thank you so much for your help.

for ten years i worked for Hobart inc. and i worked on all kinds of commercial equiptment.

im in business for myself , and i always run into somthing differant.

thanks again.............Robert
