Dishwasher black white wire connect

I installed new Frigidaire dishwasher with an all grey power cord - what happens if I mixed the connections to the black and white wires? Disherwasher does not drain properly, but drain hose appears to be correctly connected and looped high.

The dishwasher is AC not DC so in all actuality, it will still run with the hot and neutral reversed. Nothing will change in the way it operates, if your thinking it will reverse the operation of anything electrical (it's single phase not 3-phase and/or DC).
