What are symptoms of an over or under charged refrigerant? Leak repaired under warranty in Nov. 07. Freezes great, but seems to routinely cycle on/off about every 10 min. Even if door is open long enough to rearrange contents, and thermometer registers 45 degrees, the compressor cycled off. Temp control just seems to only function as on/off switch. Maintains approx -5 Degrees F. Beginning to wonder if the only reason it cycles at all is due to comp. thermal protection. Just maybe i'm trying to make normal into something faulty. Any comments?????? Temp control was replaced also.

is the compressor HOT ?

how is the evaporator coil ? (the cold thingy)

It should be evenly covered lightly with frost (unless recently defrosted)

The evaporator fan and the compressor fan should run anythime the compressor is running.

Fans function properly. Compressor runs as it always did. Quiet and warm, not hot. Unit freezes well. -5 degrees. Just seems to cycle more than i ever remember it doing. Have had it since new. It's 5 years old
