runs all the time

I have a 11 year old Magic chef 22 cf side by side ,replaced defrost heater about 2 weeks ago ,fridge and freezer cool OK,but seem to run all the time ,only when it finishes its cycle stops for 20 min. in 24 hrs. :confused: please help
