My washer just stopped working well full of water,it wont drain or anything , the only noise i here is the humming from the water inlet valve,if i replace this will that be enough.Can that valve stop the washer from working electrically?

To run through the cycles if first must fill with water. You may be able to put it in the spin cycle but it has to have water in it to do a wash.
