Indesit dishwasher D3000W Drains but doesn't fill

Hi,

My Indesit Dishwasher D3000W drains but does not fill. I have checked the inlet valve and it seems to be working.

On position one of the timer which should start the cycle, the drain pump comes on and runs for a while before the timer switches it off. Then nothing happens.

I would be greatful for any suggestions as to the likely cause.

Try different setings for water temperature, and for water level. If still nothing, then it might be the pressure switch, lid switch (usually not) or the timer control. See acmehowto.com for more information on how to check these components.
