the timer went out on the washing machine, and it got stuck in the spin cycle, we heard it making this grinding noise and realized it probably had been spining for about 20 minutes,, and now the machine makes this noise at different intervals, it will be quiet and then all of a sudden it starts this grinding noise, mostly during the wash cycle, then when it starts to spin it stops, then then starts up again, any suggestions where to start to look ?
