I have a Maytag LSE1000 stack unit that seems to have a mind of its own. Lately when I push the dryer program "Regular" button the washer starts and then none of the buttons respond at all. Likewise when I push the washer button it selects any program it wants and the same "no response" on all the other buttons. I've unplugged the units for 24 hours hoping they would reset, but no luck. The unit is an older model and works (worked) great, but the replacement control board is $250+, so I'm considering buying a whole new unit. Is there any sort of 'reset' button on the board that would straighten this mess out? Thanks for any help on this one.
