Everything works but, during the agitation cycle, it agitates in one direction and, when it reverses there's a noise and the light throughout the house dims.
I have it disassembled and the only thing I have found is in the transmission.
The gear has worn a grove in the cover - on one side. The gear appears to fit the shaft a little loose but I don't know the tolerances allowed for fit. This is my question, or could it be anything else?
