Rust like spots

I get rust like spots on my whites sometimes after washing in warm water; It'sa whirlpool about 10 yrs.old. any ideas?

It may be transmission oil leaking up into the wash. Try running an empty load - no detergent - add two pints of white vinegar. Then run the washer with a white t-shirt - no detergent. If you get the spots, I'd say it is likely a leaking transmission.
