I had this older but nice refridge charged last month ,and the lights went out in an electrical storm ,the unit came back on but it would not cool everthing inside defrosted ...I dissasembled the top portion and removed the defrost thermostat, it will not check for continuity warm or cold! Now would this stop my fridge from cooling? I am operating on the advise of another layman like my self..... eny help apprciated Rope
