Dishwasher Help

I am having a problem with our dishwasher. It is an Amana ADW862EAS, it has been working fine for 2 years but now I can't select a wash mode. It looks like a lack of power to the dishwasher but when I push the wash button you can see a dimly lit 8 flashing but I can't get any wash cycle to work. Is this the circuit board? if anyone can help I would appreciate your reply.

I don't have the error codes handy, but call the Amana tech support line and they'll tell you what it means. You also should be able to find it in the owners manual (everybody keeps those, right).
