refrigerator not dispenseing water

Hello all i have a ge profile frig that will not dispense water.The ice maker is still working .I hope someone can give me a clue also door switch is slow to come out so light will come on. model tpx25ppbebb serial 162d6791g059 Thanks

If you could check the voltage at the Water Valve behind the Fridge while someone tries to dispense water.

I've got a Kenmore Elite with essentially the same problem. It is still making ice but no water comes from the door. I disconnected the inbound water at the water valve and it was under a great deal of pressure. I've got a multimeter but I'm usure what to check on the water valve. I understand that there are contacts on the valve. What kind of voltage should I have? Can I replace the water valve lock, stock and barrel and fix the problem? I recently change the water filter; the change light came on about the time the door quit dispensing and my ice is "thinner" than it use to be.

I CHECKED WATER VALVE AT APPLIANCE STORE THEY SAY VALVE IS GOOD.COUNTER GUY THINKS IT IS CONTROL BOARD IN DOOR? cost is 45$
