The Neptune, MHW2000AWW, will stop in the middle of a cycle. It will usually wash one load. On the second load the machine will start making a thumping sound and stop agitating. The sound that it makes is kind of like it is off balance but it will do this even with a very small load. It’s not a distinct thump, but several different sounding thumps together, kinf of like GglLuUmMp. You know it is going to stop agitating when this happens. When it stops agitating the door will unlock and the washer will turn off. You can open the door and the tub is full of water. You cannot start the washing machine right after it has shuts off, but if you wait several hours the washing machine can be started again; I usually wait at least eight hours.
