I Have A G.E. side by side, model number TFX30PPBECC. Water is coming to the door, but not the ice maker. I took the water tube off and ran it through a cycle and do not get water, sounds like the water inlet valve.

or check the voltage at the IceMaker portion of the Water Inlet Valve when it should be calling for water.

Is there a way to make the water valve call for water without filling the ice maker with water and waiting for it to freeze?
