I have a refrig. and it's not shut down, the compressor run continualy, I check the thermostat and is ok, has cont. I change the relay to try and its doing the same, the timer it working to, I put in defrost time and enter again to start the compressor when finished the defrost cycle. Help to identify the problem, thanks and excuse my english.
The thermostat can be wrong however the test is ok?

The compressor usually runs because the frig is not getting cold enough for it to shut off. Is your frig cold enough? Is it too cold?
If it is too cold, then the thermostat may be stuck in the "ON" position. The compressor itself runs when it gets power, so the relay and the thermostat are the two keys there. The relay was replaced, so you have ruled that out.
If it is not cold enough or just cold enough, it could also be a problem with low refrigerant pressure or the door seals are letting warm air leak in.

What refrigerant pressure is with 134a in that refrig? And, The position of the thermostat is important enough to the compressor go off? It is cold very well, but freeze the water in the refrig. area because the compressor is on all the time, except in defrost mode.
