Help we have a moffet washer not a brand new one but when I do small loads such as facecloths, towels etc it works great but when I do a load of jeans or sweatshirts it goes off balance every time and clothes all go to one side, I place them in evenly but it does not seem to help I have to stop it when it spins out both times and try to balance the clothes, what could it be? Is it something under the washer like the springs or what do I look for?

The wash tub has several connections to the chassis, usually through springs. these springs dampen the energy of the heavy tub of water.

These springs can become detached, break or just become too weak. The thing to do here is to open the cabinet abd look for the connections from the wash tub to the frame and determine if evrything appears normal (no missings connections or broken parts.)

While this is less likely, based on the symptoms, it may help to simply adjust the feet on the machine to make the washer level.
