GE Fridge not cooling properly

I have a Ge side by side fridge. Model number TFX22KRCGWW. 8 years old. It has been no trouble until our daughter loaded it completely full with drinks from top to bottom. It does not cool hardly at all on the fridge side and the freezer gets the drinks cold like the fridge but does not freeze anything. The back inside of the freezer has frozen ice on the back wall most of the way down. This happened suddenly and has been this way for about a week and a half now. Not sure what to do and hope I can correct this. Any suggestions? Thanks Tabitha

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.
