Ice Maker Repair

I need help to troubleshoot my ice maker. I have a GE Profile Performance Refrigerator Model TPA24PPBA WW. The ice maker makes ice but does not disperse it from the ice storage bin. The drive mechanism does not turn when you activate the switch with the glass. There is a noise when the switch is activated. I emptied the ice storage bin to insure there was no blockage. Any help will be appreciated.

Remove the ice bin and see if the thing that turns the shaft which is on the back wall, turns. It is driven by a motor. Try putting power to the motor to see if it works. You can replace the motor. Parts (http://acmeparts.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5968#post5968)
