My Kenmore Fridge is about 4 years old. Freezer on top. First problem was I noticed water puddling on the top shelves of fridge. Saw that it was coming from openings into freezer area. There was no water coming from drain tube so I removed the back panel of freezer. Tray that leads to drain was filled with ice. Also some ice on upper left area of coils. I removed everything from fridge and freezer and let all ice melt. Made sure drain tube was clear and put it all back together. Now it seems that the fan in the freezer is running "almost" constantly. Fridge and freezer seem to be the correct temperature?? What is causing the fan to run "almost" constantly. It does seem to stop for a little while occasionally. Is it the Defrost Timer or Defrost thermostat?? I am sure I will be seign the water leaking from the freezer again soon... Thanks, Bob
Model number of fridge: 106.74254400 (Kenmore Coldspot)

Does the Compressor run "almost" constantly ?

What are the temperatures in the Freezer & Fridge ?

I can't find a copy of the wiring diagram for that model.

INo, the compressor does not run constantly. I was trying to listen for it last night and never heard it come on. The Freezer temerature is about 4 degrees
and the fridge is about 34 or 35... seems a bit cold?? And the fan in the freezer is still running most of the time...
What do I need to do now?

The Evaporator Fan and the Condenser Fan are controlled by the ADC (Automatic Defrost Contoller).

I'm not sure about that model on when they are supposed to run.

The water build-up may be because the Drain Tube is freezing.
